Terms and Conditions
PREAMBLE
1. These general terms and conditions of sale are agreed between Syom Consultoria, Unipessoal Lda, with registered office at Rua dos Lusíadas, nº6 4DF, tax identification number 516212443 and contact number +351 91 000 96 23, hereinafter referred to as “The Joy Spot” and people who wish to purchase services through the website www.thejoyspot.co, hereinafter referred to as “User”.
2. The parties agree that purchases of services made through the website www.thejoyspot.co will be regulated exclusively by this contract, excluding any conditions previously available on the website.
ARTICLE 1 – PURPOSE
The purpose of these general terms and conditions of sale is to provide and define all the information necessary for the User regarding the methods of scheduling, purchasing, paying for and providing the services offered on the website www.thejoyspot.co.
These conditions regulate all the steps necessary to make the purchase and guarantee the continuation of the provision of services to the User.
ARTICLE 2 – SCHEDULING
The User completes the appointment by completing the purchase process presented on the website www.thejoyspot.co, selecting the service(s) they wish to purchase and adding them to the shopping basket.
To schedule an appointment, the User must:
a) Register on the website www.thejoyspot.co, providing the requested information;
b) Log in (using the email and password combination defined during registration);
c) Complete the requested information and choose the options available in the order completion process (billing details, payment method, as well as the NIF and name to appear on the invoice).
Final confirmation of the appointment is equivalent to full and complete acceptance of the prices and description of the services available for purchase, as well as these General Conditions of Sale, which will be the only ones applicable to the contract thus concluded.
The Joy Spot will honor appointments received online. In the event of unavailability of the service, The Joy Spot undertakes to inform the User as soon as possible.
The data contained in the invoice is the sole responsibility of the User. Once issued, the invoice cannot be reissued with changes.
If payment is not received within the indicated period, the service reservation will not be guaranteed.
ARTICLE 3 – PAYMENT
On the website www.thejoyspot.co, The Joy Spot offers the User the following payment methods, through Easypay – Instituição de Pagamento Lda:
a) Credit card (Visa, Mastercard);
b) Multibanco Reference;
c) Bank transfer;
The User's card will be debited after confirmation of the service reservation. In the event of unavailability of the service, the amount will be refunded to the User in accordance with the applicable terms.
ARTICLE 4 – AVAILABILITY AND CONSUMPTION
The service reservation is confirmed after payment validation. The service will be provided on the date and time defined at the time of the order.
ARTICLE 5 – PRICES
Prices are to be understood in Euros, with taxes and fees included, taking into account the VAT in force on the date of payment of the order.
In the event of a change in the price of services, the User will be informed in advance and may choose to maintain the reservation (paying the difference) or cancel free of charge.
ARTICLE 6 – CANCELLATION AND REFUND
The cancellation process is handled on a case-by-case basis by The Joy Spot. The request must be made in writing to hello@thejoyspot.co, at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled service date.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, or no-shows, do not entitle you to a refund. In these cases, a cancellation fee corresponding to the total amount paid will be applied.
Whenever possible, the refund will be made using the same payment method. If this is not possible, the User must provide proof of payment and account ownership for refund by bank transfer.
The Joy Spot undertakes to reimburse the User within a maximum period of 30 days after validation of the cancellation request, where applicable.
ARTICLE 7 – PRIVACY POLICY
The processing of the User's personal data is carried out in accordance with current legislation on data protection. The data collected is processed electronically and entered into The Joy Spot's database(s), and is intended exclusively for managing reservations and sending communications related to the services offered.
Providing this data is optional, and the User is guaranteed, under the terms of the law, the right to access, rectify and delete any personal data, upon written request to the email address shown on the website.
